Saturday Morning Surprise

We were sitting on the deck this morning, around 8am, when the fox trotted up the path from the lake. I didn't move, but he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me. Bob turned to see him, and the fox ran off into the woods. I'm sure he thought it was a business-as-usual weekday, quiet and routine. The last thing he was expecting was company on the deck. He thought he'd have free and easy access to the squirrel peanuts and pizza crust. Good thing Tiffy was inside; that would have been interesting. That is why I keep a close eye on HRH Tiffy. She's moving slow these days, and sometimes yowls and seems confused. Poor thing; she's 16, at least. She's had a wonderful life here at Casa Berg.
